Rindt

A 3rd generation farmer in Glen Valley, Western Turf Farms and Roots & Wings Distillery.

We need a Council that will put residents first and get things done. We need to try something different, fix our roads and build the infrastructure we need for a growing community.

Farming and Small Business in Langley

Rob is the general manager of Western Turf Farms, a family owned business that has been in operation since the 1990's. It is currently the largest turf operation in BC. He also manages the operations of Weller's Blueberry Farm, another family owned farming business.

Childhood 01 small

In 2015, after studying craft distilling, he and his partner Rebekah Crowley started Roots & Wings Distillery. It was important to him to realize what farm to bottle really means. He grows as much as he can on-site to deliver a premium local craft product.

Growing Up in Langley

Rob was born and raised in Langley on the family property at 78th and 240th. He still lives there today. He is one of six kids raised into a 3rd generation farming family that has been working the land for over 70 years.

His work ethic has been shaped by his experience growing up, and being hands on with the family farming effort, and watching his parents build a business and evolve as the market changed. He is also incredibly grateful for the influence of his grandfather who he was very close to. He taught Rob the importance of honesty and hard work.

Family Life

Rob lives with his partner Rebekah and our three kids at the family farm. He tries to teach the kids the value of hard work every day. He really wants to give them the same experience he had growing up, to work hard and will do well, and treat people with kindness.
