THE CONTRACT

LET'S GET IT DONE

The Right Team's Guarantee

We need a new plan for Langley's growth and solve our chronic infrastructure deficit. Let's elect The Right Team to get it done.

— Eric Woodward
FOR MAYOR
A CONTRACT WITH LANGLEY

Langley needs to evolve and find a better way forward. From the sad state of our roads to failing permit timelines to falling so far behind on recreation and urban parks, taxpayers deserve better.

It's time for a new, firm, guaranteed Contract with Langley.

Woodward

We need a new Plan for Progress and a Plan for Schools, a new plan for our growth and our communities.

Our team, The Right Team, will get a fair deal from development before it's too late and solve our chronic infrastructure deficit by building the roads, schools, recreation facilities and parks we need for livable communities.

In our guaranteed Contract With Langley we will:

Finally fix the embarassment that is 208th Street, 80th Avenue and the other major roads in Willoughby.

Expand the Aldergrove Community Centre within a new Vision for Progress in Aldergrove.

Build a new indoor pool, youth and community centre in Willoughby within Yorkson Community Park at 80th Avenue. There is no plan for one.

Build a new youth soccer campus for LUSA with at least four new synthetic turf fields, one of which will be fully indoors for all-weather use.

Build at least three new ice sheets and two new all-season dry floors, with guaranteed ice and floor time for Langley's youth.

Finish Fraser Highway from Murrayville to Aldergrove within 8 years, along with water and sewer infrastructure.

End closed-door Council decision making and the sale of public lands without transparency, fair process or public input.

Replace our fire halls for Brookswood and Walnut Grove with a new plan for community-oriented policing and second stage housing.

Fix our broken permit and development processes that increase costs for so many while delaying the new housing we need.

Get residents and taxpayers a fair deal from development to complete our Plan for Progress and Plan for Schools, before it's too late.

We have to move on from a stale status quo that's out of touch, out of ideas and just not getting the job done. We aren't a small municipality anymore, now the region's 5th largest and one of its fastest growing. Yet, we still aren't thinking or acting like it.

Together, let's evolve and think differently than we are. Let's realize Langley's incredible potential! Taxpayers deserve a Mayor and Council there for a clear plan and a purpose, to listen and serve, not the position.

This October 15th please give us a chance to show you what’s truly possible for Langley’s future. Please support The Right Team with a clear, upfront and detailed Plan for Progress and Plan for Schools.

Let's get it done.
